BADIWON CHARLES
BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Badiwon Charles is an enthusiastic professional who takes great pride in his ability to successfully deliver and plan effectively in line with The Professional Ethics and Standard Operation Procedures, a researcher who is experience delving into issues and coming out with findings/ results. Badiwon is renowned for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of clients by maintaining a constant awareness of all issues relating to their health and public health issues. He is currently pursuing a PhD programme in Clinical Microbiology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He has been lecturing in the Bolgatanga Technical University since 1st October, 2021. He holds a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, Mphil in Clinical Microbiology and a final year Candidate in Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Microbiology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is an assistant lecturer who has supervised many Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor of Science (BSC.) students’ project works. He is currently the Acting head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science. He has served in diverse committees. Badiwon Charles attended training workshops on Refresher Training in Malaria Diagnostics and External Competency Assessment in Malaria Microscopy organized by the National Malaria Control Programme in Sunyani, Strengthening the Health System of Ghana through capacity building of Physician Assistants and Biomedical Scientists in Kintampo organized by College of Health and University of Utah, Sysmex General Customers Training KX-21N in Kumasi, Quality Assurance in Tuberculosis Microscopy in Korle-Bu, Accra.
