Welcome to the Department of Visual Communication Design & Applied Art
Fostering creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation in art, design, and industrial production.
The Department of Visual Communication Design & Applied Art IS dedicated
to nurturing creativity, innovation, and technical competence in the visual and
applied arts disciplines. The department comprises three specialized sections:
Communication/Graphics Design; Painting and Decorating; Ceramic Art Design.
The Department offers a range of academic programmes, including the Bachelor
of Technology (2-Year Top-up & 4-Year Degree), Higher National Diploma
(HND), and 2-Year Diploma in Graphic Design. Each programme integrates
practical studio work with theoretical foundations to develop students’ artistic
creativity, design thinking, and entrepreneurial abilities.
